Having heard about KLABU’s mission and work, the campus came to us with an idea to unite their community of students, sporty or not, in social good. They chose a teamwear colourway from our selection of 8 (keep your eyes peeled, we’re expanding the choice this year!) and customised it with the HvA logo. And then they literally took the ball and ran with it!

16 April saw a day of sports, as their shirts and other KLABU goodies launched in the HvA campus store, with dubball, a mix of volleyball and pingpong, joyfully being played surrounded by a sea of purple and orange (or ‘Spice Plum’ as we call it in design speak), alongside richly beautiful photos of KLABU’s work in refugee camps.

Anyone in the HvA community can get a shirt, but with almost half of the limited edition shirts sold within a few hours on the day, it may be that we’ll have to look out for these lucky wearers on campus and around town… We heard there are even some Olympians in their student body so watch this space!
